Hailing from Sydney Australia, with Māori heritage, Poppy is a high work-rate female rugby back rower specialising in dynamic ball running attack into contact, defensive tackling, breakdown work & turnovers, support play & try scoring in women's Rugby Union (15's) and Rugby Sevens (7's).
Dynamic back row forward with a strong emphasis on speed, physicality and work rate. A competitive sprinter with the pace and repeat-effort fitness suited to high-tempo rugby union or rugby sevens teams. Known for aggressive ball carrying, dominant defensive contributions and consistent involvement across all phases of play.
Selected for representative programs within recognised development pathways since 2023 in both game formats.
